Guest Preferences can be set up to track the guests' preferred technician for each service group such as massage, facial, or hair treatment. When an appointment is booked for a guest with technician preferences set up in their profile, the calendar automatically filters showing the preferred technician first. However, you must first add the guest to the Scheduler’s Appointment Cart.
To add a preferred technician to the guest’s profile:
- Navigate to the Customer Profile page and click the Preferences tab.
- In the Technician Preferences section, select the name of the preferred technician for the service group.
Note: The service will not appear in the drop-down if the service group (that applies to the service) does not have the Allow Customer Preference checkbox enabled (Admin > Service Management > Click the Service Group name > Enable Allow Customer Preference).
- Click Save.
The guest’s technician preference is saved in the profile.
