Book4Time includes several high-level system settings that help you manage your business efficiently. These include Scheduler settings, auto-email setup, managing customers, POS, managing inventory, staff settings, and security.
To access system settings, navigate to Admin > System Settings.
The following settings are available. Expand the required folder, edit the information, and save the setting.
Manage how appointments appear on the Scheduler and define the functions you can perform while booking appointments. This includes settings for waitlist appointments, turnaways, check in appointments, set up auto emails, and more. To learn about each setting, read: Appointment Settings
Manage the actions required while creating customer profiles, define referral programs, notifications, and customer notes. To learn about each setting, read: Customer Settings
Manage your staff settings, define staff skill levels, departments, and more. To learn about each setting, read: Staff Settings
Manage high-level inventory settings such as reasons for returns and adjustments and create the shipping carrier for products. To learn about each setting, read: Inventory Settings
Manage all the functions that you perform in the POS screen such as receipt settings, collecting payments and applying coupons/discounts, applicable taxes, and define the tenders you use to collect payments. To learn about each setting, read: POS Settings
Manage interfaces, define exchange rates for various currencies that you accept, define the languages you want Book4Time to support, and set up your staff password policy. To learn about each setting, read: Global Preferences
Enable or disable the various functions that your staff can perform. You must set up security controls for each user group at your location. To learn about each setting, read: Setup Security Settings
