The session timeout duration defines the time period for which a system can remain idle. After this time, users get temporarily logged out of Book4Time and will need to enter their ID and password to continue the previous session.
Note: The session timeout duration entered for the location applies to all users. A user cannot individually define a session timeout duration for their profile.
To update the login time period:
- Navigate to Admin > System Settings.
- Expand Appointment Settings and click Defaults.
The Preference Setup options appear on the right.
- Click Edit at the top-right corner of the window.
- In the Session Timeout field, enter the duration (in minutes).
- Click Finish.
