If you need to capture the credentials of the user who is responsible for booking an appointment, you can enable the Authenticate User on Booking setting. This setting is useful at a location where multiple users are responsible for front desk operations. With this setting turned on, the booking gets associated with the user who authenticated the appointment.
To enable the setting
- From the main menu, navigate to Admin > System Settings.
- Expand Appointment Settings and select Defaults.
The settings appear on the right.
- Click Edit at the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select the Authenticate User on Booking checkbox.
- Click Finish.
An authentication pop-up window would appear when creating and updating appointments.
