In Book4Time, you can setup and manage multiple discounts and coupon programs. Creating and applying coupons are security driven.
- SKU Filters: They are required to determine what items (products, services, gift cards) are included in a discount or coupon program.
- Discounts: They are created to promote more sales and sometimes to clear old inventory to make room for new products. In Book4Time, they are used to setup coupon programs that help determine what type of discount should apply when a coupon is issued. Discounts are categorized into groups to help keep track of the various programs and types of discounts such as employee, promotional, and coupon.
Book4Time offers a wide variety of coupons to manage your marketing and promotional objectives.
Point of Sale (POS) Coupons are used to apply a coupon at checkout. These coupons are usually issued in magazines or flyers with a specific coupon number. When the guest redeems a POS coupon, the operator can enter the coupon number or scan the barcode at check out. The discount will automatically apply to the applicable SKUs.
Tender Coupons are treated just like any other tender. Instead of applying a discount at checkout, the operator can use a tender coupon to pay for part of the sale.
Incentive Coupons are issued to customers who spend a certain amount on the purchase of products and services. For instance, if a customer spends $X on services, they can receive 10% off their next visit. Incentive Coupons are used to encourage customers to come back for more services.
Incentive Gifts work just like a Gift with Purchase (GWP) program. When customers purchase a certain SKU (i.e. gift cards, brand of product or service type), they would receive a special gift. This program can also be setup to apply only to sales made on certain days and valid for a limited period of time.
Marketing Coupons are set up to integrate with CellIT for SMS marketing. It is similar to a POS coupon, except the coupons which are generated in Book4Time are sent to CellIT instead of the customer. CellIT then sends a promotional SMS message to the public who have the opportunity to opt into the promotion. When they accept the offer, a coupon code is sent to them which can be redeemed in their next visit.
