A Facility Type is used to classify a room used to perform related services. For example, a couples massage room can accommodate two types of services, e.g. single massage and couples massage, whereas a regular massage room can only accommodate a single massage. In this case, you would set up two Facility Types to differentiate the rooms.
To set up a Facility Type:
- Navigate to Admin > Account Management > Expand Facility > Select the Location.
- Click Add new facility type.
Result: The Facility Type Profile page displays.
Note: The Location defaults to the selected Location.
- Enter the name of the Facility Type in the Type Name field.
- Click Save & Continue.
Result: A list of Services appears.
- Check the box next to each Service for which the Facility Type is required.
Note: Click Check-All to select all services under a service group. To deselect all services under a service group click Uncheck-All.
- Click Save.
Result: Your Facility Type has been created and you can now set up your Facilities.
